HOW TO REPORT READS

If you have read (sighted) or found a Finnish read ring, please send all the data to Helsinki Finnish Centre (there is also a form for that, but only in Finnish 30.9.2004). If you get a read from my a KJxx or KJxxx gulls (see projects), please, send all the data to me ( Risto Juvaste, Viljakaari 4, FIN-80510 Onttola, e-mail rr(ät)juvaste.fi ).

Note that it is very important to send all data connected to reads, even if it is not quite sure (please, do mention about that).

You should report (if available): Species, age, sex, ring data (colour, code, txt-direction, type, leg), other marks, exact place (if possible with coordinates), situation (like roosting flock of 2000), special observations (leg injury etc) and of course your or/and reader/finder contact informatio

EURING reporting form. This is designed mainly for reporting metal-ringed birds, and at the moment only for some groups of colour-ringed birds (including gulls, waders, wildfowl etc.)

When the site is up and running, people should always enter the site via www.ring.ac which then takes you to the correct pages.
